Backbone are excited to announce that with the help of amazing community donors, Tash and Dave, all donations made to Backbone from 1 June - 31 July will be doubled up to $10,000! That's a total of $20,000 we can raise together for young artists!
Be a part of the community that helps us continue our critical work building the backbone of young people, supporting them to be flexible, resilient and powerful contributors to their communities.
Backbone works with some of Brisbane's youngest artists, from the age of 8 up to 30, and we co-create radically inclusive spaces for them to find their voice, and be empowered through the arts. In the past five years alone, we have worked with 6,700 artists, presented 1,690 events, 15 festivals, held more than 961 workshops & we have shared our work with more than 50,000 people. And we aren't stopping there!
With the move to our exciting new home, Seven Hills Hub, Backbone will be transforming this space into a state of the art facility for curious, untamed and experimental thinkers to imagine the world of tomorrow, today.
