A reminder. An invitation. A warning. A promise. A REALITY.

offered by the bold Young, queer, trans, BIPOC and FIrst nations voices of Magandjin’s creative community, This year’s program showcases a mosaic of works that challenge existing power structures while reaching out to those who have been historically sidelined. THIS WORLD IS YOURS TOO is both a declaration of inclusion and a call to action, urging us to recognise our role, and potential, in shaping the world. Backbone Festival 2024 RUNs from October 10th - 26th at the Seven Hills Hub.

We acknowledge the Jagera and Turrbal people whose unceded lands this festival takes place on. We pay our respects to elders past, present, and emerging, and acknowledge their ongoing connection to the lands, waters, and sky.
