Backbone Young Creators Workshops are offered as on-campus after school hours Drama classes with an energetic, curious and supportive environment for young people.

Designed to nurture and develop their imagination, literacy skills, critical thinking, speaking confidence and collaboration through the art form of Theatre, these classes can run on your school grounds, be exclusive to your students, and run in collaboration with school staff.

All Young Creator Workshops from Years 1-12 are designed by experienced educators, facilitated by professional teaching artists and are aligned with the Australian Curriculum.

MUSIC INDUSTRY COLLEGE

Grades 11 & 12 - Music Theatre & Acting Industry Classes

2026 TERM dates:

Term 1: 25th February - 8th April (7 weeks)

Wednesdays 4:15pm - 5:15pm (60 min class)

Cost:

Term 1 - $195/term (7 weeks)

Workshops will take place on campus at Music Industry College after school.

MEET YOUR FACILITATORS

Daniel is an actor, director, comedian, and musical theatre performer with a Bachelor of Musical Theatre from Griffith University and a Masters of Arts Management from Deakin University.

As a performer, Daniel has appeared in a wide variety of productions across Queensland, including Fun Home, A Midnight Visit, Maho Magic Bar, and Ordinary Days and has had the opportunity to work with amazing artists like Reuben Kaye and Courtney Act.

He is also the Artistic Director of Second Beat Productions, where he has produced and directed a range of acclaimed comedy shows. Across performance and production, Daniel creates joyful, provocative work that celebrates identity, community, and connection.
