Backbone Festival invites you to Look Up and push back dream big make noise take notice speak out get curious

Across three weeks, Seven Hills Hub will be transformed by the next generation of bold makers. You’ll encounter performance, sound, visual art, and experiences that challenge expectations and create space for mess, resistance, joy, and imagination.

Backbone Festival: Look Up is a call to shift focus. Look up from the noise and toward what’s just out of reach.

October 9 – 25, Magandjin (Brisbane).

We acknowledge the Jagera and Turrbal people whose unceded lands this festival takes place on. We pay our respects to elders past, present, and emerging, and acknowledge their ongoing connection to the lands, waters, and sky.
