Education & Workshop Coordinator - Daniel Kirkby

Daniel is an actor, director, comedian, and musical theatre performer working across stage, cabaret, and live performance. He is the Artistic Director of Second Beat Productions, where he has produced and directed a range of acclaimed comedy shows, including Thank God You’re Queer, Gutenberg! The Musical!, and I Twink Therefore I Am.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Musical Theatre from Griffith University and a Masters of Arts Management from Deakin University, combining his performance background with a passion for producing and arts leadership.

As a performer, Daniel has appeared in a wide variety of productions across Queensland, including Fun Home, A Midnight Visit, Maho Magic Bar, and Ordinary Days and has had the opportunity to work with amazing artists like Reuben Kaye and Courtney Act. Across performance and production, Daniel creates joyful, provocative work that celebrates identity, community, and connection.
