Stories stored in the clouds…

Cloud Bank is at once both a lighting installation of a lightning storm inside a room and a bespoke venue to house new visual works for Young Audiences.

Cloud Bank is a place of sanctuary, a store of wonder, and a repository of dreams; somewhere my armour falls off, and my lessons don’t feel so hard-won. It’s listening to rain on a tin roof and thunder roll across the sky.

Buuuuuuut…

Cloud Bank: Draft 1 is not a venue: it’s a listening party. 

It’s material, tech, and concept: a weather report of the core lighting installation that underpins (or overhangs) the design-led making of future works that tread the aged boards of the Bank.
