YOUNG CREATORS WORKSHOPS

Term-based drama classes

Backbone Young Creators Workshops are an energetic, curious and supportive environment for young people aged 8 to 18 to nurture and develop their imagination, creativity, and collaboration skills. Hosted on Backbone turf at the Seven Hills Hub and facilitated by our team of talented artists, Backbone offers a weekly workshop program across 4 terms each year.

 

 

SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMS

Stay creative during the year with Backbone’s Holiday Programs. Backbone offers holiday programs through our Young Creators Camp for ages 7-11 and our Drama Club for ages 12-18. These two - three day programs are full of learning, making, and playing under the guidance of our Lead Facilitator Martelle Simon-Green.

 

 

IN-SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Backbone offers a variety of ways to engage with young people in your school environment whether that be in-school residencies, in OSHC or other co-curricular opportunities. Our school programs can be tailored to your needs, let’s work together to bring Backbone to you!

Backbone theatre for babies

Created in collaboration with Backbone’s company in residence Brymore Productions, Backbone Theatre For Babies is a program for our youngest artists ages 0-3. The program will feature a variety of events and workshops for parents and children focuses on creativity, imagination and play.
