ENROLMENT & REFUND POLICY
Enrolment Terms & Conditions
All enrolments for Backbone's in-school workshop programs must be completed online via our website.
If you are unable to enrol online, please contact Sean@backbone.org.au to arrange an alternative method. Enrolment is confirmed once full payment is received or a payment plan is approved.
Late Enrolments
Participants can enrol anytime during the term, subject to availability. Enrolments after Week 2 will be charged a pro-rata fee based on the remaining weeks of the term, plus a $15 administration fee.
If enrolling after Week 2, please contact Sean@backbone.org.au before completing your enrolment. The online system will automatically charge the full term fee, so adjustments for pro-rata payments must be made manually.
Fees and Payment
Backbone is a not-for-profit organisation. Fees for workshops must be paid in advance or through an approved payment plan. If enrolling online, you will be asked to pay at the time of enrolment.
Flexible payment options are available for families experiencing financial difficulties. Please contact Sean@backbone.org.au for assistance.
Payment Methods:
Credit card (online).
Direct bank transfer (contact Sean@backbone.org.au to arrange).
Cash payments are not accepted.
Missed Classes
Enrolments are for a fixed term (or portion thereof). Refunds are not provided for missed classes.
Cancellations and Refunds
Backbone reserves the right to cancel or modify workshops at any time. If a workshop is cancelled by Backbone due to insufficient enrolments or facilitator unavailability, we will offer a credit or refund for the cancelled workshops.
Participant Cancellation:
Cancellations made prior to the first session will be refunded, minus a $15 administration fee.
Cancellations after the first session but before the second session will receive a pro-rata refund, minus the $15 administration fee.
No refunds will be provided after the second session unless in cases of extenuating circumstances. Requests for refunds must be made in writing to Sean@backbone.org.au.
Attendance
Attendance is recorded for every workshop, please contact Sean@backbone.org.au in the event of any absences. Consistent attendance supports the development of skills, confidence, and teamwork - essential when preparing for showcases or performances.
When students commit to a program, they are also committing to their peers, especially when working towards group activities or outcomes.
