Anna Loren is a writer, director, actor and teaching artist, working across stage and screen. She was a finalist in the Queensland Premier’s Drama Award for her play, COMFORT, and received Playwriting Australia’s Erin Thomas Playwright Fund, for her play, 22. Her short monologue, BURNING SEASON was commissioned as part of the Come to Where I am anthology with Critical Stages Touring and Paines Plough. As a director, Loren has worked for Ad Astra, heartBeast Theatre, The Rose Bruford Youth Theatre London, JMC Academy, NIDA Open and Brisbane Girls Grammar. Productions have included When the Rain Stops Falling, Nosferatu, Lysa and the Freeborn Dames, Prehistoric, Normal, Matilda, The Tempest and Garage Girls. Anna teaches on the acting programs at JMC Academy & NIDA Open. In the past, she has also taught for The Actors Workshop and Speak Up Studio in Brisbane, as well as the Rose Bruford Youth Theatre in London. Anna holds an MA in Ensemble Theatre and was recently elected to MEAA’s Equity and Diversity Committee as CaRM Co-Chair.

Tom Yaxley graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of
Fine Arts (Acting) in 2016 and a Masters of Business (Arts and Cultural Leadership)
from Deakin University in 2024.
In 2023, Tom was the alternate performer for Every Brilliant Thing with THAT
Production Company & Metro Arts which won the 2023 Matilda Award for Best
Independent Production and in 2024 performed the return season at Ipswich Civic
Centre. In 2025, he toured this production through western and regional Queensland.
In 2021, Tom made his mainstage debut in Boy Swallows Universe (Queensland
Theatre / Brisbane Festival). His other theatre credits include The Sugar Syndrome
(BackDock Arts) Anatomy of a Suicide (Metro Arts & BC Productions); Chroma Town
(Queensland Theatre), The Sublime (No Interval and Brisbane Powerhouse); Flood
(Anywhere Theatre Festival) Hoods, April Fools : Redux, Romeo and Juliet Must Die,
Hamlet / Macbeth and The Complete Deaths, The Lunatics, the Lover and the Loon,
Our Place (Grin and Tonic); The Government Inspector, Waiting for Godot, and Angels
in America (QUT).
Film and web series credits include Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan and F*ck
Everything. Voice over work includes two seasons of podcast Six Cold Feet by Brisbane
author Josh Donnellan.
Tom continues to work as a teaching artist for the Grin and Tonic Theatre Troupe, NIDA
Open and Queensland Theatre and is currently the Theatre Director / Production
Coordinator at John Paul College. Tom has done further training in improvisation with
The Groundlings and voice work with Patsy Rodenburg through 16th Street Studios. He
is an Equity member and the currently serves as the Treasurer for the Actors and
Entertainers Benevolent Fund In Queensland.

Francesca holds degrees in Theatre and Acting (QUT) furthering her training in Shakespeare at RADA, Shakespeare’s Globe (UK), and Shakespeare & Company (US). As an actor Frankie has worked for Sport for Jove, Queensland Theatre, Shake & Stir, Critical Stages, Bell Shakespeare, International Actors’ Ensemble, Auckland Summer Shakespeare, Brisbane Shakespeare Festival, Griffin, Riverside and Old Fitz, and has played a number of screen roles. As a director, she has worked for Sport for Jove, Bell Shakespeare, Ensemble, and Acting schools QUT, ACA, JMC and Excelsia. Francesca received a 2010 Churchill Fellowship to direct Shakespeare in South Africa, a 2015 Globe International Actor’s Fellowship to train and perform at London's Globe, and was a recipient of the 2017 Sandra Bates Director’s Award. She was Sport for Jove’s Associate Artist (2018 - 2022) Frankie is a proud member of MEAA.

NJ trained in Acting and Music Theatre at Mountview Academy, London, where she became obsessed with stage combat. NJ is accredited with the British Academy of Dramatic Combat (Advanced with Recommendation – mark of excellence – globally the highest and rarest honour award), and The Society of Australian Fight Directors. NJ has also trained internationally with many fight masters, the British Academy of Fencing and many martial arts, gaining multiple awards over the years, namely NAS Australian Champion in Women’s Advanced and Veterans divisions, 2018 in kung fu and 4-Star Sabre and 5-Star Foil with the British Academy of Fencing.Other martial arts include BJJ, kickboxing, capoeira, karate.

Angela has a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts in Dance (Deakin, 2005) and Graduate Diploma in Education (QUT, 2006). She also studied an Advanced Diploma in Dance Teaching and Business Management through TasTAFE and the SPACE Dance Program in 2013.
Angela has a performing arts career spanning two decades, as a dancer, choreographer, actor, teacher and physical theatre performer. She completed the Zen Zen Zo Creative Entrepreneur Internship in 2024 and performed in their 2025 season of Blushing. Other companies she has worked with include Dairakudakan (Japan), DRILL Performance Company, Tasdance, Second Echo Ensemble, Mudlark, MADE, Stompin, Plot, Old Nick, Bad Company, Tasmanian Theatre Company and Moonlight Aviators, in festivals including Ten Days on the Island, Mona Foma, Dark MOFO, Junction, Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, Woodford Folk Festival and Dark Fringe. She teaches High School Dance and Drama and has choreographed over 30 school musicals.

Indiah Morris is an independent theatre-maker, designer, and visual artist. She is the Artistic Director of Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre Company and Founder and Artistic Director of The Drawer Productions. Passionate about the arts community, she immerses herself in exciting, innovative, and trans-disciplinary works as a designer, director, performer, and regular patron.
Indiah holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Queensland University of Technology, in Drama and Graphic Design. She has studied and made work within a number of Brisbane theatre companies; from Incubator with PlayLab, Assembly with La Boite Theatre Company, and Zen Zen Zo’s Creative Entrepreneur Internship. All after learning from a multitude of Brisbane performance ensembles in the early stages of her career. Alongside her work as a designer, she is an award-winning playwright, taking home Queensland Theatre’s Young Playwrights Award in 2018 and has performed as an actor and artist in residence in Brisbane Grammar School’s production of A Few Good Men.
Indiah has a long history with Backbone, acting in the 2017 collaboration with Curious Directive titled Frogman, a member of the 2018 and 2020 Performance Ensembles, and performing in the 2020 arts incursion program at Calamvale Community College.
In recent years, she has made an impact on the independent theatre scene directing sell-out seasons of SHELTER: The Immersive Experience, taking home the Melbourne Fringe Tour Ready Award and the Brisbane Immersive Award for Outstanding Immersive Production. In 2022, her first children’s book (Amazing Animal Poems: An Anthology of Children's Animal Poems (A-Z)) was published; her illustrations accompanying the work of author Cam Wyllie.

Hollie Bryan, born in the UK, began her journey in the theatre from a young age performing in local productions before pursuing behind the scenes and front of house roles in the UK and Australia. Alongside her partner Sean Bryan, she co-founded Brymore Productions on the edge of the New Forest in 2015. Hollie serves as co-founder, producer, performer, director, and designer, showcasing her versatile talents within the company.
With Brymore Productions, Hollie has earned acclaim, receiving numerous glowing reviews for her engaging, semi-improvised productions including ARTISTE, The Bureau Of Untold Stories and Madame Manocchio’s Magnificent Mobile Museum of Mysteries. Her artistic style, characterized by visually stunning designs and colorful storytelling, resonates deeply with young audiences.
Hollie's work with Brymore Productions has continued to gain international attention, with ARTISTE recognised in Assembly Festival's Best Of The Fest: Daytime shows and deemed one of the Top Circus/Clown performances of the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe by Broadway World UK.
Hollie's unique ability to connect with young minds, coupled with her warm demeanor and improvisational flair, distinguishes her as a standout figure in children's theatre. Her future endeavours include developing theatrical experiences for infants and their caregivers, fostering a lifelong love for the arts in the next generation.Hollie's ultimate goal is to inspire creativity, imagination, and a profound appreciation for the joys of life through her work in theatre. -
