BaBeL

Presented by Younes Bachir

Saturday 27 October         7:00pm

BaBeL is a spectacle born out of biblical mythology. A homage to each unique human identity. A song to the richness of diversity. A celebration of the languages of all the inhabitants of earth.

WORK WITH YOUNIS BACHIR

Backbone welcomes three world renowned performance makers to collaborate with Brisbane artists to culminate Backbone Festival - How Soon Is Now. Younes Bachir (Andante Method) previously of La Fura dels Baus, and Deborah Leiser-Moore, of Tashmadada, and with the special collaboration of Alejandro Rolandi (Strings Attached) will be working with local Brisbane artists over two weeks to create BaBeL.

Workshops will run for two weeks, with a one-off public performance of BaBeL on Saturday 27 October on the greens of our venue, East Brisbane Bowls Club.
