2017 Drama Club

Excite! Create! Play! Belong!

Backbone’s Drama Club is a fun, inclusive and inspiring space where children and young people can unleash their creativity and cultivate essential skills.

Guided by professional artists with extensive experience, Drama Club participants create performances using their own ideas, experiences and imaginations. As well as learning about theatre, participants gain a wide range of skills – including empathy, collaboration, critical and creative thinking, and literacy – preparing them to enter the world as global citizens and our future leaders.

At the end of each term, Drama Club performances are shared with an audience of friends and family. Past Drama Club performances have also been featured at the Backbone Festival and Festival of Australian Student Theatre.

In Term 4, we are excited to offer two Drama Clubs:

Ages 6-9: Saturdays 11am – 1pm (commencing Saturday 7 October)

Ages 10-14: Tuesdays 4.30pm – 6.30pm (commencing Tuesday 3 October)

There’s never been a better time to Join The Club!
